1) ExpertiseI'm a seasoned front-end developer who architects the markup of e-commerce and marketing sites using HTML, XHTML and CSS, while bringing functionality to life via JavaScript. jQuery is my JavaScript library of choice.

I'm not interested in grabbing the spotlight, I'm interested in building a solid foundation for your project's front-end so you can grab the spotlight with your client, investor, board of directors or whoever you choose.
3) Philosophy: Front-end DevelopmentIt's hard to convey how strongly I believe front-end development requires proper planning. Despite the front-end markup being the foundation for the design, content, interaction and maintenance, I commonly see it treated as a second-class citizen. Which is inexcusable since every byte and http call matters - regardless the size of the site - due to the complexity of today's designs and amount of interaction typically on a page.
4) Philosophy: TeamsIn order to create the best product possible, I champion small, specialized and agile teams. A well-rounded understanding of the design and development process and how other areas affect your tasks is definitely beneficial and advantageous, but it's hard to refute the intricacies and efficiencies one learns about their craft by solely executing it day in and day out.

5) LeadershipI have formal experience as a project manager within an interactive agency, have led teams and mentored junior developers.
6) CommunicationI expect and provide open, honest communication regarding expectations and deadlines. In addition, I value details and ask a lot of questions.
7) LocationI'm located in the St. Louis Metro East area and typically work remotely with senior level teams and stakeholders all over the country. However, if you want me to work on-site for a specified timeframe and are willing to bring me to your location, that can also be arranged.
